The weak are meat and the strong must eat?

As a vegan and a Buddhist I find the fact that people have to kill anything unfortunate, I woke up to this truth last year, however, as my friend Ian pointed out once, we only tend to want to save the cute animals. What about the billions of other animals like cows, horses, chickens that die every single day in often horrific and painful circumstances?

Human beings are brutal creatures, we have been since we left caves and tribal roots, but we are evolving at an exponential rate. A plant based diet is not only beneficial to your health it is beneficial to the environment, and if you are suffering from diet related illnesses or obesity it could save your life. You only need to take a look at the China Study https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_China_Study To see evidence of these claims.

We have all been brainwashed by the sugar industry, the milk industry, the meat industry, the advertising industry for over 100 years to believe we must eat meat, that we must drink milk.

It is a lie. And the sooner we awaken from this nightmare the quicker we can repair the damage done to our bodies and our planet.

At the end of the day it is personal choice what you put in your mouth, and how you live your own life.

All I ask is that you consider the impact of your food choices and which animals you decide to "save"

There is currently a global campaign to save the Dolphins in Japan, what about the billions of other animals that die in horrific and painful circumstances at the hands of human beings?

Life is life. And if we can't respect all life, what hope is there for us on this planet?

If you want to see the truth of what you are eating every day, watch this film above, if you are brave enough to face the truth it could change your life forever: {Warning: Graphic Images}

Another film I would highly recommend you watch is Forks over Knives, it takes a look at the American diet and how it is seeping in to places like China and Japan like a cancer, and its doing just that, causing cancers, heart disease, obesity where previously there was none.

Check out the film website here, you can watch it on Netflix:
